I would probably have had a better time trying these on watermelon than on a cantaloupe, but by the time these arrived the watermelon season was over. I made quite a mess out of a cantaloupe testing these, and I would not advise using them on smaller melons. But they do slice fine, and the slicing wires seem strong enough. I could have peeled and cubed up my cantaloupe faster with a knife, though. I do like the fact that you can hang these on a hook for those times when you want to pull them out. Watermelon time!

Received this as a gift and honestly had never seen or heard of this before. This is the best gadget for slicing melons and very easy to use. It cut out the messiness of juices going everywhere or trying to use a container to catch juice runoff. Easy cutting and cleanup. It’s easy grip large handle helps finish within a few minutes with no additional cleanup needed. It made for storing the even cut slices simpler and eating them better. Portion control is easier to do.
