(verified owner)None of my tea herbs or spices came through the mesh in the strainer. And this is a nice large size to put a lot in for whatever you’re going to use it for. I would highly recommend this product and company they have been great to answer any questions I had and they initiated an email to make sure I was satisfied with their product without me even contacting them.
Not only is this an exceptionally well made product but the company that I bought it from is very responsive and wonderful to deal with. There were no problems with this product they contacted me to make sure I was satisfied with it which was really a very nice customer service feature.

(verified owner)I intend to use it next with some Chilli or hot sauce preparation. I dehydrated several hot peppers from my garden last fall and I want to have the flavor and heat but not the seeds, skins, etc..
I may use it with some lemon balm leaves and camomile in the coming weeks. However that will be for smaller portions so perhaps the smaller tea infuser may be a more appropriate choice.
Overall a very handy multifunction kitchen utensil that is well made!

(verified owner)This set of two infusers does the job nicely. The lid screws on so I don’t have to worry about tea leaves tipping or spilling out of the infuser. The chain is long enough to loop around the handle of the pot so I can easily withdraw the infuser after steeping is done. The infuser is fairly easy to clean, although there is a rim on the bottom where there are no holes, which makes it a little tricky to get all the remnants of leaves out, but it really only takes a few seconds longer than an all mesh infuser would.
The infusers measure 8cm across, and the opening of my pot is 8.25cm, so they just fit for me.
All in all, does what it needs to.
